Notes & Assumptions

The shelf is a 3D frame: connectors are arranged in two rows (front and back), connected by depth tubes. All counts are therefore doubled compared to a flat structure.

Connector dimensions

  • Part width: 24 mm  |  Drawer rail: 10 mm from each side
  • Vertical tube insert (top & bottom, all parts): 15 mm
  • Horizontal insert — side parts: 20 mm (tube ends here)
  • Horizontal insert — middle parts: 24 mm passthrough (tube continues)

Formulas

  • Vertical tube: drawer_height + 2 × 15 = drawer_height + 30 mm
  • Width bar (left-right, 1 front + 1 back per level):
    2 × 20 + cols × 300 + (cols − 1) × 24 mm340 mm for a single column
  • Depth tube (front-to-back, per connector column per level):
    420 + 2 × 15 = 450 mm — same for all configurations

Connector columns & rows

  • cols + 1 connector columns (left / middles / right, shared between front & back)
  • 2 connector rows (front + back) — all part counts are ×2 for this reason

Part variants

  • Normal: tube inserts on both top and bottom
  • Top: no tube insert on top — only used at the highest level
⚠ Column width (left-right): 300 mm → 340 mm width bars. Depth (front-to-back): 420 mm → 450 mm depth tubes. Always verify against your actual printed parts before cutting.
